The City of Barrie (“City”) is seeking submissions from qualified and experienced respondents for the provision Hydrant Painting Services throughout the City on an as required basis. The successful respondent shall perform the services of this Contract (herein referred to as “Work”). The painting of hydrants ensures that maintenance of the appearance of hydrant infrastructure throughout the City is continued, exhibiting pride of ownership of City Infrastructure and instilling consumer/resident confidence in the drinking water system. The City of Barrie requires contracted services for hydrant painting services. The Contract shall be inclusive of all labour, equipment, material and travel expenses necessary to perform this work. The work shall include the painting of approximately 600 Hydrants per year including surface preparation, priming and painting. The contract is effective upon execution of the Agreement (the “Effective Date”), while services will primarily be required annually from approximately April 27th to September 30th (the “Operating Season”). * Electronic Submissions Only.
