Description: 

The City of Barrie is seeking a mobile fare payment application as a complement to the existing transit fare system. Therefore, the Barrie Transit department is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide a mobile ticketing application. The application will provide Barrie Transit customers a convenient way to purchase, display and use fares. Combined with other supporting software, the application will allow customers with smart phones, including those at minimum running Apple and Android devices, to use mobile fares.
