The City of Barrie has a requirement for an experienced, qualified, and competent professional to provide forestry consulting services. The successful respondent will be required to provide objective and professional services and advice to the City on arboricultural and urban forestry services. Key considerations will be public safety, regulatory and technical requirements, and strategic matters. The City has approximately 1,600-hectares of natural areas and forests, as well as 300-hectares of maintained parkland, 40,000 street trees and 15,000 open space park trees. * Electronic Submissions Only.
