This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Barrie (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Waterfront Concession – Summer Activities, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The City is seeking services to activate our waterfront throughout the year and is looking for proposals from qualified and experienced operators who are interested in licensing opportunities to provide high-quality summer season recreational activities or rentals services to activate Barrie’s waterfront parks. In consideration of the grant of license by the City to the successful proponent will pay an annual license fee, plus HST, to the City. Please refer to Appendix C – Pricing and Appendix D – RFP Particulars, Section A – The Deliverables, Subsection 8 – Payment Schedule for additional information on the license fee. This Contract excludes food-related services, personal motorized watercraft such as jet skis and sea doo’s, e-bikes/e-scooters, water bikes, inflatable/floating waterparks, small vessels such as sailboats and sales of goods and merchandise. * Electronic Submissions Only.
